For Children: Sunday School

Sunday School traditionally meets after worship and fellowship time, following the same time schedule as adult education, from 11:15-12:15 pm, September through June. Sunday school classes are divided based upon the needs of the children and their age groups. The curriculum is based on the lectionary readings used during worship.

Most recently, when we were meeting in person, we were utilizing a new curriculum for our Sunday School children, Feasting on the Word. We are very thankful to have a fine team of dedicated and talented teachers leading our Sunday School classes.  We encourage all to consider stepping up and helping to teach the next generation of Ewing leaders to grow together in their faith – you’ll be surprised at what the little ones can teach us!

And of course, we look forward to being fully together again in person when it is safe to do so.

For Youth

We have also had an active high school aged youth program where youths participate in discussions with other local youth groups based around spiritual/social emotional topics relating to the current times. The group also assists with church-wide programs such as Deacons, mission projects, service programs within the community, and youth programs such as Camp Johnsonburg retreats and Triennium.

Vacation Bible School (“VBS”)

Vacation Bible School is typically held for a week in the summer, from  5:30 – 7:30 pm each day, with a light dinner served at 5:00 pm. It provides biblical-themed programming for children, grades K – 4. Older children and youths often help the leaders with the music, crafts, meals, and adventures, and everyone has an awesome time!
